Open Top Bins
| | Open
top bins are less expensive than the lidded versions and are ideal for use in
covered precincts and shopping malls. They are not easily damaged by fire. In
external environments lids reduce the problem of litter being blown out of the
bin, or being removed by seagulls etc, | | so
these dysfunctions should be considered before specifying an open top bin. The
liners are lifted out of the top of these bins for emptying, and should be secured
at the rim by a padlock to prevent unauthorised removal. We can supply brass padlocks
(with a standard key differ), if required. |
